Bliss Poem by hannah king

Bliss

All through the fields and under the breeze
Like wildflowers we danced and we twirled
We waved and we swayed without a care in the world
Blissful/ We were happy and free at peace like the sea
The flowers all bloomed with rainbow like hues
All was still, nothing amiss
Until winter came and we withered away
Now the cold and the distance makes me miss the place
Where the sun would shine down
And make our problems like dew, disappear
Sometimes I can feel spring approach
With warmth resemblance to our warm summer days
But all it is, is illusions,
They come and they go never to stay
Should I wait for summer to sway?
Or find another meadow and go on my way

Loved the vivid description of bliss and the yearn for it's return.
