Blizzard Poem by Matt Burgett

Blizzard

Rating: 5.0

On the first of December
In the year of 2010
The sky will begin to cloud up
And the snow will fall again

An inch here and there
Then a foot over night
The temperature will hit the negatives
With no end in sight

And if you walk into the blizzard
You will be covered up with snow
You will scurry back inside
With nowhere else to go

Because it will snow with all the might
That nature can provide
If your caught your stuck
With no place left to hide

So I promise if you get lost
Then you'll always remember the date
On the first of December
When the blizzard sealed your fate

Gee. I guess this is nice to know. Remind me not to go out that day. I'll stay inside, thank you. This is an interesting forecast of the future. Since I have a habit of believing the worst. This is one of the scariest poems I've read. Mission accomplished for the writer. Bravo! GW62
