Blood Poem by Morgan Stanton

Blood

Teeth, bared strong and elegant
White with shine
Soon to be stained
With velvet red poison
Addicted to the taste
The smell, The feel.

The love of the shivers
That over-run our kind,
As we take down the victims
So weak, so Brittle, so Delicate
So easy.

We adore the screams
That fill our ears
Shrieks of agony
Yells for help.
Pleas to cease the pain.
Never.

We love the way they
Stare blankly ahead
When death takes them in its arms
When they take their last breath
Lives taken painfully.
Iddentical peirces place on their necks
Punctured too deep,
Blood should be flooding
Too bad they've been sucked dry.

But, really we're just
Torchered souls
Forced to live on earth forevermore
Immortal destiny
Misunderstandment
We must murder
To keep from Hell
This is the greater punishment
Please forgive us,
But you must be killed.
