Bloody Mary house

I open the door to the tower at the downstate:
Round room and your walls of purple color.
Your house donated by my heart.

I'm looking at an icon of saint
with your countenance
and under it a flashing cresset
in the wind of my memory.
I'm protecting him with my soul
while I look down my head
how his flame is weakening.
My Body defend our fire.

It hurts me a storm that has no meaning.
The flame is weak
and the cresset extinguishes.
I look up in fear and I see
on the icon the figure of the saint,
Your countenance that is mocking me.

The shield of my soul I throw
and with my body I extinguish our fire.
The cresset has no more flames.
I can not hear the wind of my memory.
I do not see your countenance
in the dark on the icon.


I close the door to the tower at downstate,
round room and walls of your purple color.
It remains just an ordinary prison of memories.

Kuća prokleta Jerina

Otvaram vrata u kuli na kraju grada:
Okrugla soba i zidovi tvoje, ljubičaste boje.
Tvoja kuća srcem darovana.

Gledam ikonu sa tvojim likom
a ispod nje kandilo koje treperi
na vjetru moga sjećanja.
Štitim ga mojim dušom
dok spuštene glave gledam
kako njegov plamen slabi.
Tijelom branim našu vatru.

Boli me oluja koja smisao nema.
Plamen slabi i kandilo se gasi.
U strahu podignem pogled
i vidim na ikoni lik svetice,
tvoju sliku koja mi se ruga.

Štit moje duše bacam
i tijelom gasim našu vatru.
Kandilo više nema plamen.
Ne čujem vjetar moga sjećanja.
Ja u mraku na ikoni ne vidim tvoj lik.


Zatvaram vrata u kuli na kraju grada,
okrugla soba i zidovi tvoje ljubičaste boje.
Ostaje samo obična tamnica uspomena.
Tvoja kuća - Prokleta Jerina.
