The day we met,
I was dazzled by your words.
They were so unique,
but familar to me.
Each word spoken left me hanging,
wanting more
I could feel a love growing in my heart
Like a seed planted
Your words were like sunshine, rain.
Love had begun to bloom
Its flower
so delicate
brilliant with color,
its petals
so soft
Soft as a blanket
wrapping me in your love
I had no idea
I was about
to find you
so suddenly
so soon.
Who would have dreamed
there would be
Flowers
in the winter snow
