Blue Marbles
what an ice cream dream
the coolness of her
stare
cold
glaring brilliance
a kind of Hope
diamond
appearance
same kind
the Hope diamond
shows
a darkness
glanced by moonlight
I couldn’t look away
from
feeling the distance
of the universe
in a single slice
of space
wanting to reach
and caress
with impassioned
pressing
if even
by one finger tip
but it would never be
