Blue Sky Poem by Shweta Patke

Blue Sky

Rating: 5.0

Sitting besides him watching the shore

Time just ticked away leaving me wanting for more

Busy with my dreams, busy with my plans

I forgot to open his clenched fist

I forgot to see my name carved on both his hands

Part of it was red, I am sorry I know you bled

Part of it blue, I know you fought the demons and time just flew

Time just flew

I remember how he tried hard to make me smile when that tear rolled

Always appeared strong always appeared bold

He pulled out his hands when I was eclipsed with fear

Selflessly giving without thinking whether I was far or near

Figured out late that you are too precious your are too dear

Dark clouds have gone the horizon is clear...the horizon is clear

I kept staring at the glowing moon I kept staring at the stars

I had the salty taste of waves on my lips carried by the sky

I wish god paints this picture perfect I swear! I don't want to bid 'Good Bye'

It's never too late.... I don't want to bid 'Good Bye'
