Blur In The Eyes Poem by Gerick Boulom

Blur In The Eyes

Silence is the pain in my heart beat
There's no one here to listen
Tear drops falling towards my feet
Gravity changing the flow of my pen
Stolen melodies adorned by an angelic voice
It's on repeat and now I'm colliding with the ground
Falling or soaring I've made my choice
Emotional damage scared and bound
No sacred memory can change my love
I have everything but the price of freedom
I'll keep breaking but, towards you I shove
I lie about not wanting because of your stardom
But, can you hear the tremble in my words
I dream of a gaze into your eyes
Then I find myself waking in a psychiatric ward
Mistakes I've made will start the aching cries
