A Stolen Past Poem by Gerick Boulom

A Stolen Past

i remember the daze in my eyes as i'll lie about the stars
i parachuted down from cloud nine i'm holing euphoric scars
don't want to give up so i've place you with my thoughts
can you see the surrounding pain and the shadowing fog
this place is just a past while everything in it becomes my dreams
so go toward the unlit light and sew the spliced seams
i can try to move forward but the bounty is high
are you still with my mind because i feel the sky
waves in your mind echo like the frostbite in my heart
can you help me find where these seasons start
appearing in the night my hope for you has begun
so such a figure comes capture the sun
and lay rest to the deserted mountain to beige our brain
and find new reasons for the silently bleeding veins
give more doubt than answered prayers
i'm not alone when i'm breathing this hallow air
