Boko Haram Tufiakwa! Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

Boko Haram Tufiakwa!

Tufiakwa! Tufiakwa! !
Let the cloud bathe you with an old woman's saliva
A curse you find no pillow of peace
Under this distant canopy
Your deeds stroked dark lines
Across the faces of the seven seas,
Across the faces of the seven jungles,
Seven lions' teeth smile to bless you
Yours is worse than Osu.
Let leprosy gloves your gory hand
With which you drenched our father-land
Too much you teethe that you can chew
Braveless boko beast birdflew

Let no snail rent you
A shell for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no ant-hill rent you
A cave for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no mouse rent you
A hole for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no forest rent you
A shade for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!

Know we the terrors of the jungle, the lions,
Is not by the massacre of cameleons,
Blind are you so that you cannot see well,
The wolves hiding ours in their own shell?
Fie! You delight in evil
Hide not your face like beans weavil
He that troubles the land
Let the earth quakes him to yonderland
He that challenges nature
O' nature dish his carcass to a vulture
And a foetus that says mother will live not
Mother abort it and live long!

Let no snail rent you
A shell for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no ant-hill rent you
A cave for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no mouse rent you
A hole for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!
Let no forest rent you
A shade for hide out
Till you bring back our maidens!

Thanks for sharing this very thoughtful and deep poem. Someday we shall all experience all the joy of taking back our impoverished country back from the jugular of those who threaten its existense. Someday brother!
