Bombing And Bulldozing Nations Call For Climate Change While Destroying The Environment - Poem by Saiom Shriver
How ironic that many of the
countries advocating climate
change are themselves
to kill human beings and
in Pyrrhic victories.
Poet's Notes about The Poem
1 Trees are temperature stabilizers. While deserts can be 130 or more
degrees, rainforest at the hottest point: the equator, is 70 degrees
2 Trees turn carbon dioxide into oxygen.
3 Trees of average size evaporate 42 gallons of moisture daily into the atmosphere which water becomes mist, then clouds, then rain.
Trees have hundreds of other functions such as giving zillions of tons of free food, creating animal habitat, beauty etc.
