Bonsai Tree Poem by shimon weinroth

Bonsai Tree

Prefigured for more
Rose to height
Of miniature sight

A tree in a dish
Flower pot
Or some unlikely spot

With grace expanded
Contained in space
Confined to place

Unique and tended
Befriended and loved
Reflected beauty and warmth

Looking at the moon and sun
Whose presence and essence
Glows and illuminated

The covenant of man and his tree
