If I could bake a book I would
and sprinkle it with 'magination;
If I would bake a book I could
and garnish it with punctuation!
I'd whip up words till they were light
and airy as a plot I'd choose;
And then I'd blend a quick rewrite,
according to my whimsy muse!
I'd sift each chapter to a twist,
a drop of essence which is vital,
I'd mix it to a witty gist;
then, ice it with a tasteful title!
And, when my book is baked just right,
I'd read and relish each word bite!
