A story such as yours
Sounds straight out of a book
Because no-one bothered to stop it
No-one stopped to look

You're a living inspiration
Because you've dealt with it all
And it's truly amazing
That you did not fall

And inside the darkness of the closet
I would have given way
But you pulled through it all
Even with all the rape

But there will be no new hurt
And absolutely no rape
Because when you are with me
You will finally be safe
