Born Again Poem by Alexander Villegas

Born Again

When I left it all behind, it felt like a part of me died. That part of me that died were the good and bad memories of that place called home. But I was proud, I left the anchor that was holding me down from doing what I wanted. I went to the surface and felt the refreshing feeling of air filling my lungs. I am free now and I will now go live my life the way I want to. That part of me that died regained its strength and became a new me, I had a new beginning and new life as if I was born again.
