Boundaries Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Boundaries

I learned too late to put them up
These boundaries in life
Till I was drained and said 'Enough! '
Of useless meddling and of strife.

Some people feign emotions well
With false intentions, reasons fake-
But passing Time- it weighs to tell
Control is all they want to take.

Now I put up these boundaries:
Some not enemy, but neither friend,
For my last years I will live in peace
I choose which ones stay till the end.
