I wish I could send the fragrance
Of these lovely flowers to you
If you have never smelled Sweet Peas
My friend, it is long overdue.
The scent drifts through your senses
You close your eyes instantly
You can picture the sweet colors
That is the way it is for me.
They dress in the loveliest shades
Pastels if that suits your need
Or dark purple, perhaps blue
And it all comes from a simple seed.
Summer brings to me such happiness
You too can have them if you please
The glorious pleasure I share with you
A delightful bouquet of Sweet Peas!
