Boy Of War

There is a boy across the sea
He fights with his life for you and me.
He fights in the morning.
He fights at night.
For you see there's a war in sight.
He won't be a boy very long.
For he has known the feeling of war.
He dreams of his home across the sea.
Which he is afraid he'll never see.
He crawls through the jungle all muddy and wet.
And yet like a boy he's scared to death.
He dreams of his friends way back home.
And knows how it feels to be alone.
Yet he must stay and fight today.
For that tomorrow peace will stay.
So when you are asleep at night.
Think of that boy that is out there to fight.
