What lights as sun settles...
Rays mutating round
blistered, flickering eyes,
A'glimpse at day now gone.
What shows while memories fill,
stiring up and dragging out
what once lay forgotten.
How night recalls,
and forever brands
Along stretching expanses,
Of thought.
