Bread Crumbs Poem by Mr. M Jamal

Bread Crumbs

Follow the white trail
On the whispering sweet
Past deep forest cove
Unto a house thatched of reeds

Little ones, path is treacherous
So tread there carefully
While you will linger in that place
Horror can grip you quick

Take those loafs of bread
Packed in the basket lidded
Start your journey on wanton path
Destination be made easier to reach

Lest, any unfortunate circumstance
Causes you to lose your way
Don't lose heart, open the basket
Shred bread and throw crumbs on way

That's the only hope
Journey of yours complete
Mind relaxed, rejoiced
Quest never compromised
