Break His Heart Poem by Celeste Villa

Break His Heart

His smile dazzled her, as he knew it would.
Yet, she took so much longer to fall then the rest of them.
Curiosity peaked and he got to know her.
The smiles she gave him began to dazzle him.
Her voice smooth as silk entrapped his heart.
The cries of agony she gave, he comforted.
Their demons understood each other perfectly.
He put his heart in her hands, trustingly.
She broke his heart in the most terrible way.
He was devastated, he could no longer smile.
She left him in a world so cruel, just to escape.
He couldn't believe she broke his heart by piercing a bullet through hers.
Her rare smiles now made sense to him.
Hatred for not saving her began to seep into his soul.
To him, she was the only reason to keep breathing.
He visited her grave every day hoping to find hope in those solemn moments.
In the end, he had no will to live, only the will to die.
So he wrote his notes, hoping he could be rejoined with his fallen beauty.
In the last moments of his life he felt a moment of joy
Right before the bullet pierced through his heart.
