Insanity Poem by Celeste Villa

Insanity

Rating: 5.0

I hope someone will save me
Before I am lost
Yet here I am in agony
My eyes scan the floor
Searching for my blood
Scars adorn my body
Tears scathe my eyes
My screams can't be heard
I try so hard yet no sound is made
I claw at my throat
They all stare at me in disdain
I am expected to stay silent
My voice will never be heard
Constantly, I am thrown to the floor
I struggle to rise after each bruise
My body is now frail
A laugh escapes from me
Suddenly I can't stop
Every beating just causes laughter
They back away in fear
I rise, no longer afraid
Their screams are wonderful
I laugh as their blood splatters
Their faces are unrecognizable
They have paid for their sins
Justice has been served
I smile as I lay in their blood
My laughter echoes through the room.
