I gave you my heart...
Thought you’d protect it...
But instead you broke it...

You asked for another chance...
You said you’d fix it…
I believed you, gave in again...
For a moment there you kept it...
But it wasn’t too long before you broke it...

I cried, you apologized…
I fell for you, old habit…
Over and over again you managed to hurt me...
Over and over again I gave in to your lies…
You crushed my heart with your hand...
Now all the pieces of my heart’s shattered, what’s left of it?

I sit alone and wonder…
I sit alone and cry…
I sit alone and ask, what did I do to deserve this pain you’re causing...
