Breakfree Poem by Raven Black and Blue

At times doubt runs through my head
manipulates this mind that dread
outbursts of emotions makes me insane
my eyes are watery with excruciating pain

i breathe as if I pay for every single breath
my tears are like payment for every debt
i laugh as if there is no tomorrow
my melody hides the misery and sorrow

I try to device my way to freedom
Saving up everything for my ransom
carefully planning for a clever escape
I do this only for me and my only sake

Looking through the eyes of the beast
I gain power for a successful defeat
Slaying the enemies with a heart of stone
overcoming weakness that tried kill my bones
