Broken Glass Poem by Raven Black and Blue

Broken Glass

Clear gray skies engulfs my naked eyes
I see the blue glass shatter and flies
wondering when will the rain shine
shine like beer, vodka and wine
pouring directly into this brain with fling
consuming the soul that pretends to sing
always smiling for the sake of repair
heart that is crushed begins to flare
enraged mind, body and spirit
commits arson and loves to leave it
running away from the land of childhood
Feeling free spirited and in the mood
I then found a piece of broken glass
trying to find more as I pass
found purple, blue and green pieces
Holding on to them as my blood releases
Ironies of the brain makes me insane
Confusion throws me away in vain
I wanted to see the sun run and hide
Under the shadows of the clouds that glide
Covering the glare it makes and breaks
Letting the body shiver as it awakes
