Breaking Away Poem by Robert Beksinski

Breaking Away

Faces in the dark stare

Their judgment consumes my soul

I need to find hope within the despair

Before the emptiness swallows me whole

I'm running fast through a tunnel of lies

In this world I must escape

To free myself from within their eyes

So my life may begin to take shape
