Breaking Down Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

Breaking Down

Rating: 5.0

She stood up, and started to dance on her toes
I asked her to sit down, she must take it slow

Tunisia, Egypt, Libya & Syria.. what else to blow?
Isn't that what THEY want? let's call the NATO

In the name of democracy we want independence
In the name of democracy we get belligerence

In the name of God I shall not start a fight
In the name of God I will not kill a brother...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is about the Arab world breaking down, and fighting.
I am not against anyone wishing to have a better life, But that wasn't the way to go... If you were able to get rid of one president, then you'll never be satisfied with another one, You'll always look for a mistake they do to turn against him.

It is the disillusionment of people in general who are vastly ignored for the present volatile situations. Yes your concern is a genuine one. Nice write.
