Breaking Up With You Poem by Scarlette Romero

Breaking Up With You

What was once before perfect
Is now a distant memory.
We can't turn back time
No changing in what already happened.
It's not your fault that we started to drift away.
I take the full blame on everything.
I'm not the girl you should love.
But yet you still fight for me.
Why?
I've done so much unfaithful things.
I've fallin in love with other guys,
I've flirted behind your back.
I've sent love to someone who isn't you.
But yet you still love me.
I don't want to leave you.
But I must do what my heart is telling me,
I'm cutting this rope that keeps us together.
I'm breaking this love affair.
I'm giving you back your love that I clearly did not deserve.
