Breaks With My Best Friend Poem by Luke Gabrysh

Breaks With My Best Friend

On breaks from school, by the lakeside we stand, With Sam, my buddy, rod in hand. Like fish to bait, we're drawn together, In Xbox duels and outdoor weather.

His laughter, like a song, fills the air, As we roam outdoors, without a care. Our bond, strong as the sturdy trees, Playing, laughing, feeling at ease.

When hunger strikes, like a hungry beast, We seek out food, a mighty feast. With each bite, consonance in delight, Uniting us in foodie flight.

Through thick and thin, our friendship stays true, Like the sky above, endless and blue. Sam, my friend, in every endeavor, We'll fish, play Xbox, now and forever.
