Breast Cancer - Poem by Stella Sisanda Qishi
that lump leaves a cut in you
a hollow sapce
it leaves your heart bereft of joy
vexed
confounded
dislodged
enclos ed in an airtight propinquity with pain
circumscribed by fear and despair
to that dark corner of loneliness and weeping
reduced to a statistic
