The Church was empty, but for me,
Surveying the Cross and Calvary!
Christ's Mother Mary standing still,
Near Christ, our Saviour, on that hill.
And while this painting held me tight,
I gazed around at every sight,
The saints portrayed by statues there,
Expressing truths that they could share!
Yet here I live, as blood and bones,
Made so aware that Christ atones.
Ten thousand Bibles I could sell,
To preach of Heaven's grace or Hell.
And yet this painting shared Christ best,
Our Saviour died to pass God's test.
Obedience, at any cost,
God's Royal Pardon saves the lost!
Forgiveness cost our Saviour all.
Resurrection showed God's miracle.
The King of Love! The King of Kings!
Our risen Lord, what hope He brings!
Beginning once salvation starts,
Forever in believers' hearts.
Baptised and blessed beyond reward!
Forever thankful. Praise the Lord!

that I'm sharing with Christian believers and art lovers.
