Bridge Of Sighs Poem by Mohammad Saif

Bridge Of Sighs

In Oxford's realm, where knowledge weaves its spell,
A bridge appears, where secrets sigh and dwell.
The Bridge of Sighs, a sight of grand allure,
With arches reaching high, an icon pure.

Weathered stones, bearers of stories profound,
Whispering wisdom from scholars renowned.
Soft-spoken voices, refined and serene,
Embody intellect in tones serene.

Oh, Bridge of Sighs, where dreams take flight,
Your steadfast pillars guide seekers to light.
With humble words, I honour your grand grace,
A poet's tribute to your hallowed space.

Sunlight dances upon your aged facade,
Reflecting in the waters, a shimmering charade.
Footsteps echo gently, as if in a trance,
As students wander, caught in thought's expanse.

At twilight's touch, enchantment softly weaves,
Romantic whispers sigh, like autumnal leaves.
A sanctuary embraced by solace and peace,
Where hearts find solace, as worries cease.

Oh, Bridge of Sighs, epitome of wisdom's domain,
Guiding us through Oxford's scholarly terrain.
Through winds of change, your spirit stands strong,
A symbol of knowledge, eternal and lifelong.

With heartfelt acclaim, let us now proclaim,
The awe-inspiring presence of Oxford's famed frame.
In humble reverence, we pay homage anew,
To the bridge that captivates with its majestic view.
