Bright Shining Star Poem by Nolan Holland

She shines like a giant star
The sun if you will
She enlightens my day when i see her
And breaths life into my cold lungs
When she smiles
I can see it twinkle from a mile away
She's the reason i wake up in the mornings
She's also what i look forward to tomorrow
But when i see her head rest on her pillow
I know our time together is over
And i know i have to go home without her
To wait for the next sunrise
So i can once again see My Bright Shining Star!
