Broken Angel Poem by Aimee Turner

Broken Angel

Rating: 5.0

She's the girl with the fake smile
She's the girl who's secretly dying inside
She's the girl who everyone turns to
She's the broken angel

She's the girl hiding her scars
She's the girl who hates herself
She's the girl who hates herself
She's the girl who is always picked last
Everyone says she's guilty, for what she doesn't know

She doesn't know where she wants to go
Or who she wants to be
She doesn't even know who she is
All she knows is that she doesn't want to be the person she is now
She doesn't want to be alone

The girl who hates herself
The girl with the fake smile
The girl everyone turns to
But with no one to turn to herself
The broken angel

Will anyone every come to rescue her
Will she ever be free?
Perhaps one day
Until then
She is the broken angel
