Broken Doll Poem by lonely bird

Broken Doll

Rating: 4.3

As I walk through the attic of life
I found a few pieces of lost smile some stains of dried tears
A heap of abandoned dreams and broken threads of hope hanging loose
There lies an old smashed doll in the corner
I look and wonder how time stole all from her

Once so alluring with a flashing bright smile
Now lies in a mess with blinking eyes
She was the one wanted by all
taken by few but loved by none
She too had her glory days epitome of life and fun
On the zenith of power she stood
Followed by all befriend by few
But comforted by none

That is the destiny planned for her
Lying in a corner lost and forlorn
Toyed by all cheated by all
Detested by all chucked by all
But ushered by none
