Broken Heart

Broken heart,
Inside my soul,
I hear you’re mending nicely,
No one can free you,
So I’ll send you a sweet little message,
When you feel up to it,
Could you please give me a call?
Tell me why he broke you,
Played you and hated you,
Why wasn’t your love enough?

Blackberry cherry,
Used to smell so sweet,
Now reminds me of the bruises on my face,
Of the black hate inside,
The light so blue,
When the sky falls,
The colors change,
And dart away,
Why want to been seen,
When what people see they despise,

When I walk these empty planes,
The sand rises in waves,
And washes confusion away,
When from the sky you look,
You see nothing but fallen sand,
Away with dreams,
The ocean will never be parched,
Or have a broken heart,
For countless souls love it,
Just like countless hearts love me.
