Broken Shell Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Broken Shell

Broken shell

I am hatched,
-out of shell
-cannot fit in the egg…
-regardless of efforts
-can't ever; no never!

The same is for changes
-changes that took place
-the ones that we have made
-now are firm; have happened.

The racist Mr. White
-it is law; you cannot,
-call Black: a "Nigger! "

You are not authorised
-to rape them as slaves
-or sell them in auction.

No more use "The Savage"
-nor the word "Squaw"
- (In your way to insult;
-not real, for "woman".)

Bear in mind the fact that
-British Sun has set
-it is cold and long dead.

Don't be fooled with the tongue
-English also is like Greek,
-Sanskrit and Persian; and Latin…
-will be dull…will vanish…

Get your head out of sand
-not to turn to fossil, dinosaurs.

Open eyes, become wise
-everything is viral…
-Mammoth is history…
-with life gone; and remaining body
-forming bag of skin around bones! ! !
