Broken Tears Poem by Gift Anemua

Broken Tears

There is a tear in my eyes
That has refused to drop
My balls are as cold as ice
Like a sky clouded at the top

This is the feeling I feel
When I see you with him
Smooching your lips, kissing
From a distance, I hear your tongues, hissing

It pains me inside
Like a ferry attacked by a stormy tide
I cry, but no tears fall
I try, but I cannot cry at all

Red eyes
Resounding a million bye byes
I want to forget
But your memories is all I recollect

Those words you whispered to my ears
They echo through my silent fears
Reminding me of the promises you made
And your aura that never fades

If this tear will just fall
To unburden my swollen eyes
Only then will i be sure
That your departure is a final goodbye
