They say the best things come to you in twos,
They come with a smile,
While you don't see their true intentions,
They never mention what's on their mind,
Because behind those curtains,
You never know a person,
They might say things just to make you happy,
You forget to keep your guard up,
They let you down,
They hurt you,
But I guess this is what I get because you never truly get anything you want,
There's never a balance,
Things change,
As the time passes so do the people,
As the leaves change,
So do people,
You never truly know your companion till heartbreak arises,
Love is like a third world country,
It's smooth and rocky,
Certain parts you just don't want to see,
Let it be,
You live you learn,
You earn,
In the end its all meant to be.
