Broken Vow
Words were uttered, believed I
Couldn’t cry right now
Jury might ask, I’d die
I bit the lip…no tears
Betrayal – oh true it is!
Words can’t describe just how
I hurt but I don’t bleed
It’s a death – so slow, bitter
I gave you mine heart, entirety
You made me believe, you did
I couldn’t stop the fall of debris
I so love, adore, hold dear of you
I don’t deserve this all.
