Brotherliness Poem by MICHAEL MBUWIR

Brotherliness

O how good! O how blessed,
When brothers in unity,
And towards the same goal press,
With joy, love, and dignity.

It's great, joyful, and lovely,
To know one has other peers,
chasing the same goal gladly,
Ready to urge, nudge, and cheer.

We are each other's coaches,
In a swam we cross the bridge,
Fearing not the reproaches,
Of men who'll us discourage.

Patriots know they owe a debt,
To their beloved country.
When danger strikes they adapt,
Poised to fight with gallantry.

O yes! Life's the greatest gift,
From the hands of the great God,
That the community lifts,
To the glory of the Lord.

Brotherliness and and considering mankind as a brotherhood makes life easier and better. This comes to fruition especially when all press towards one end: seeking the common good. seeking the truth. seeking the source of creation.
