Brown Eyes Poem by Suzanne Stroop

Brown Eyes

Brown eyes watching you.
Lips that speak of who you are,
Where you've been,
And where you're headed for.

Eyes wide, then closed,
And the passion you convey
In just one look.

Brown eyes watching you
Caress the strings of your guitar,
And play the music that was born in you.

Long legs and hips that sway.
The perfect mix of sex and sensitivity.
A rhythm all your own.

Brown eyes watching you,
As notes, like perfect flowers,
Drift across the stage.

Memories piled one upon the other
Of a man both young and old,
And of my brown eyes watching you.
