Bubbles Poem by Charlotte Peters Rock

Bubbles

Lowryesque,
in a brown crombie,
swooping,
elegant,
to meet the pavement,
brushing shoes as he walked,
the man,
head tucked into high collar,
against the cold,
hands thrust into pockets,
deep,
was entertaining himself,
as he hurtled round the corner,
by the chemist's shop,
by blowing large, pink, bubbles.
