Burning Desire Poem by Ashhy Quebedeau

Burning Desire

Let me be clear of my conscience
Let me be clear of my past
Yet i have so many wounds
that havent healed just yet.

Waves of emotion come crashing upon you
like tides on a beach
not knowing when it will wash over you again.

You stare at the kitchen knives
telling yourself NOOOO! ! dont do it
but the better half got to you
and reached for the sharp bladed knife
and slice your wrist
watching the blood ooze out of your tainted veins

You fall to the floor
having a big smile on your face
knowing your desire has come true

Your beginning to feel coldness now
from loosing so much blood
you close your cloudy blue eyes and
you dont wake up again
in the end
you got your burning desire.
