Burning Little Butterfly Poem by Tabraze Rasul

Burning Little Butterfly

Burning little butterfly,
You light up the night sky.
Wing scorched by flames,
Silent, she hears not your pain.

Dotting between the dull stars,
You flew to her from afar.
Leaving a faint glow as you fly,
On her hand you perch, on her hand you die.
