Burrito In My Mouth Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Burrito In My Mouth

Burrito in my mouth

Suddenly
-the food in throat
-turned to rock
-I was choked

Must have been
-command's chain
-from eye to brain
-to the nerves
-to the chest
-to its guest!

Trash bins in front
-I observed, later watched
-a person in beret
-a red one
-possibly a sign to
-great past…

Turned around
-eye to eye
-saw her run…

Was ashamed?

How can I eat and she
-a person in that age
-feeds from the trash…

Food turned rock
-tubes locked
-and I choked
-felt ashamed

Hell to you filthy rich
-call me a terrorist
-take me to secret cell
-torture me
-whatever

If I hate…if ever…that is you…
