A gorgeous dog so dark and strong
you seemed so weak and that was wrong

I struggled to know what was best to do
you were my friend and I loved you.

We've been through so much these last few years, the joys & happiness & sometimes my tears

So for now I will not say goodbye......you're now my angel in the sky

I love you mate with all my heart and am so sad we had to part
As the tears rolled down my face, I know youre in a better place

Goodnight sleep well my faithful friend... I love you always until the end

Written for my Sister who sadly had her dog put to sleep today.
