But - Poem by CLAUDIA C MORADO

But I gave you what I could
You said it was ok
But I gave you what I could
You said there was no way
you would ever go away
But I gave you what I could
You said there is no reason
we won't make it thru another season
But I gave you what I could
You said believe in me
We were meant to be
But I gave you what I could
You said I have strayed
You should have never delayed
But I gave you would I could
You said it's too late
Can't make up for who I have Laid
But I gave you what I could
You said “Go on”
What's done is done
But I gave you what I could
It was nothing different, nothing odd
Just what bad lovers had left
of my heart.. to rott
