I wonder if you are speaking of actual board games or games of the mind? Funny how people can interpret this differently. My first impression were games of the mind being played whereas the comment left by Sunprincess shows that her gut instinct was that the poet is speaking of games of fun. Interesting poem which prompted an interesting observation.
