But I'Ll Get Out Poem by Desiree Whitamore

But I'Ll Get Out

you think you are controlling me
while i'm stuck in this penitentiary.
But i'll get out before long.
I'm stuck in this jail cell,
like highschool
I don't feel well!
you don't want to bother me.
You can tell me
anything
i believe in you
do you believe in me?
it's nice to hear you say it to my face.
My hope is to get away.
don't you worry, i can take it
I'll figure out,
if not i'll fake it
there has to be some way.
and you won't change.

has there ever been a day, when the world doesn't fall down?
Has there ever been a way where i can fail and you won't push me around?
GET ME OUTTA HERE!
